Attached is the N4C March newsletter, which includes the award winners in all categories for March.  Jo Eland, N4C president, has a nice write-up about Longwood Gardens in southeast Pennsylvania, close to the Delaware border.

If anyone likes to do, or is thinking about doing, an art-craft fair, there is an interesting article from a 10-year veteran.  See Page 8.

Enjoy,

Well, they changed things on me a bit at Edward Jones.  I did set up a photography showing, but they aren’t doing an “open house” tomorrow night.  So the photos are in the windows, but the office won’t be open for folks to go through.  If the weather isn’t too hideous, I will be at the location from 7 – 9.  They are going to have a tee shirt/merchandise person at a table at the corner selling Benson First Friday stuff.  The windows, alas, aren’t well lit, so I’m not sure what will be really visible at night.  But the photos will be there for a week!  So…..  they’re on display during daytime hours.  I’ll be taking them down next Friday, so there will be a lot of opportunity to see them.  The other good news about this is Edward Jones is hosting a "client appreciation night" this coming Tuesday, so the office is open that evening and, hopefully, a lot of their clients will see the photos.  Anyway, if you're in the Benson area, take a peek at the windows on 62nd and Maple!  I really filled the windows.  I brought a lot of my framed and matted pieces and used them all!  Yippee!

We have an amazing opportunity to photograph The International Omaha horse competition, May 5, 6 & 7 at the Century Link Center here in Omaha.  I am in contact with coordinator, Jackie Vinci, and she is willing to give us passes and lists of what they would like to see photographed during this event in exchange for us giving them some images.  There are some conditions to this agreement, one is no sale of images, but we can use them in our competitions.  We also need to sign agreements, once we talk over the conditions and agree to them.  This is a great opportunity to do live action riders and horses.  There are other events with the jumping competition and it's a marvelous weekend.  Anyone interested in this, please contact me asap so I can get the ball rolling on this.  One specific thing, no flash photography allowed in the competition rink.  Horses spook easily.....
